Weight: 20 pounds
Height: 27.5 inches
Likes: Dogs! He laughs hysterically when my parents' miniature dachshund aggressively barks at him. He loves "playing" with Kobe and Max and his Great Grandad and Great Nana's dog, Precious. He is a fan of bread (my kind of kid). Yogurt, yogurt, yogurt! These days he likes to be held more often. He loves to chase things...balls, cars, toys, the dogs, etc... Chase still LOVES the outdoors. When he bumps his head, we take him outside and he usually stops crying. He loves to go on walks and his Pa took him outside to explore the outdoors. He crawled around and took interest to everything in the front/backyard.
Dislikes: Chase is still not so patient when it comes to food or a bottle. He doesn't like "hurting" others...The other day he banged his head on my nose and I yelped and made a sad face. He looked at me for about 10 seconds, then his lip was out and he was crying. He thought he hurt me. Once I showed him I was okay he was too.
New Developments: Chase is doing much better at gumming/chewing, so we've been introducing him to more finger foods. He can walk alongside the coffee table or couch, but would rather crawl. He can crawl and push things at the same time. He is a master at making the /b/, /l/, /d/ sounds. He can climb over things. He waves using his whole arm.
Firsts: Some first foods for Chase include: mashed potatoes, chicken, turkey, beef, sweet potato fries, french fries, bread, bagels, and cheerios. He also got his first bruise.
Big Events: We moved to Jackson, MO. This will be the place that C will grow up. :-) Mommy is working full-time for awhile; thank goodness for Gram & Daddy!
| If you look closely, you can see what's left of his bruise. It is in the middle of his forehead. |
