22 Weeks & Gender Reveal

We had our ultrasound this week. Our sweet baby weighs 1 pound, 1 ounce and is developing beautifully. Everything looks textbook perfect with the baby and myself. We (I) did something a little different with this pregnancy. I wanted to try out the trend of having a reveal party to learn the gender of the baby and chose to do so with a cake. Spencer, on the other hand, decided to go ahead and find out during the ultrasound. The two day wait was totally worth finding out the gender. All along the Old Wives Tales and the Chinese Calendar pointed to girl, so that was my guess. My answer was all in the icing...
