This afternoon Spencer and I visited Zin Valle Vineyards in Canutillo, TX. It is nestled between the Franklin Mountains and the Mesilla Valley Appellation AND it is only 10 miles from our house! It is operated by a family and it possesses that comfortable and "homey feeling." Most importantly it reminded us of Missouri because we had grape vines to the east and south of us and cotton fields to the west and north! The wine tasting was spectacular and we settled with a bottle of Chardonnay. Within 5 minutes of our visit we decided we would definitely come back to this peaceful place that reminds us of home!
