No News is Good News???

No news..........that's exactly what we've got and we need to update our blog! Not too much has been going on out here in Southwestern Texas. The holidays are over and they were great. Spencer survived Christmas alone here with the dogs and I had a great visit back in Missouri with family. I seriously only took one picture over Christmas. It is with my new and beautiful niece, Claire, who belongs to Matt & Erika.


On New Year's Eve we went to dinner with our friends Jessica & Matt. We tried to go somewhere new close to UTEP's campus, but for some reason every restaurant down there stopped serving dinner at 8:00!!! So...we came back close to home and went to one of our favorite spots, Jaxon's. Then we had a champagne toast at midnight back at our house and bed soon followed! Sorry, no pictures!

Spencer has been busy at work making sure things are running smoothly with his soldiers. I've been steadily searching and applying for numerous jobs around here. Still no luck. Blah!!! Hopefully soon, though.
